Youngstown Police Blotter for May 29

The following activity occurred Friday, April 2, to Sunday, May 23, as reported by the Youngstown Police Department.

Friday, April 2

  • Patrol reports assisting LPD on an underage drinking party call on the 400 block of Fort Gray Drive North. Patrol reports 25-30 youths dispersed.

Tuesday, April 6

  • Patrol assisted U.S. Border Patrol and Niagara County Sheriff's deputies at Dickersonville and Youngstown roads on a call of arguing motorists. Issues resolved and patrol cleared.

Friday, April 9

  • Vehicle/traffic stop at Elm Street and Youngstown-Lockport road. Uniform traffic ticket issued to a 26-year-old male for running a stop sign. Report filed.
  • Patrol reports assisting NCSD on the 3500 block of Balmer Road. Call involved a male with a gun. Patrol cleared the residence; negative results reported on the gun.

Saturday, April 10

  • Patrol assisted LPD with a missing child report on the 900 block of Pletcher Road. Subjects located behind the residence in the woods. Patrol cleared.
  • Check situation call on the 3400 block of Creek Road. Patrol assisted NCSD with locating an elderly female. All OK; subject was at Mount St. Mary's Hospital and Health Center.

Sunday, April 11

  • Patrol assisted NCSD with a warrant execution on the 500 block of Water Street. One male taken into custody.
  • Harassment complaint on the 300 block of Third Street. A 46-year-old male reported that he went to drop his son off at his ex-wife's residence and she didn't want her son there. A 42-year-old female was listed in the report. Report filed.
  • Check welfare call on the 600 block of Blairville Road regarding a 4-year-old female found walking alongside the road. All OK; patrol cleared.

Monday, April 12

  • Patrol assisted NCSD on a domestic on the 1800 block of Youngstown-Lockport Road. No problems found.

Thursday, April 15

  • Bad check complaint at a restaurant on the 3900 block of Creek Road. Patrol spoke with the owner and attempted to contact the suspect at a residence on the 700 block of Lake Road. Total amount owned was $214. Investigation to continue.
  • Patrol assisted LPD with a harassment complaint on the 2700 block of Ridge Road. Officer requested assistance. Situation resolved and patrol cleared.

Friday, April 16

  • Vehicle/traffic stop on Church Street. Patrol reported the pullover a 65-year-old male for speeding in zone. Driver clocked at doing 46 mph in a 30 mph zone. Uniform traffic ticket issued and Porter Town return date assigned. Report filed.

Sunday, April 18

  • Lost dog on the 200 block of Oak Street. Found by owner.

Monday, April 19

  • Patrol, on follow-up to a bad check complaint on the 3900 block of Creek Road, reported the party involved will make payment. Patrol cleared.
  • Report of an unregistered vehicle on the 300 block of Elm Street. Patrol attempted to make contact with owner without success.

Friday, April 23

  • Walk up harassment complaint at YPD regarding an incident on the 500 block of Oak Street. Statement taken from a 37-year-old male who reported a 45-year-old male was yelling at children, throwing rocks in yard and yelling at his wife for driving on his lawn, which the complainant denied doing. Report filed.

Saturday, April 24

  • Patrol reports issuing two appearance tickets to a female on the 400 block of Oak Street for public law violations. Return date assigned for Porter Town Court.
  • Vehicle/traffic stop on Lockport Street. Warning issued to the driver.

Tuesday, April 27

  • Vehicle/traffic stop on Church Street. Patrol reports issuing a uniform traffic ticket to a 46-year-old female for speeding in zone. Driver clocked at doing 49 mph in a 30 mph zone. Report filed.

Saturday, May 1

  • Patrol reports assisting State Police with a one-vehicle accident on the Robert Moses Parkway and Route 18F. Driver charged with driving while intoxicated. State Police processed the arrest and filed the report.
  • Patrol reports assisting NCSD on reports of a one-vehicle injury accident and a male with a long gun in the vehicle, on the 2600 block of Youngstown-Lockport Road. NCSD to handle both reports.

Sunday, May 2

  • Patrol reports speaking with a 41-year-old female on the 100 block of Elliott Street who reported a paper was placed on her property containing slanderous comments towards her. Report filed.
  • Patrol assisted Niagara County Sheriff's deputies on a mental health/check welfare call of a female on the 3400 block of Creek Road. Woman taken to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Patrol cleared.

Tuesday, May 4

  • Report of a female knocking on doors, asking for help on the 200 block of Williams Street. Subject listed as a 22-year-old female from Buffalo was located by patrol on the 200 block of Main Street. Patrol reported the woman appeared intoxicated and told officers she had no idea why she was on the street or how she got there. Family member contacted by patrol and responded to pick her up.

Saturday, May 15

  • Patrol reported on standby on the 400 block of Riverview Drive for a female who said she had been kicked out by her boyfriend and attempted to retrieve belongings.

Sunday, May 16

  • Patrol assisted LPD on a custody dispute call on the 4000 block of Old Ransomville Road. LPD to file report.

Monday, May 17

  • Patrol reported a male on the 300 block of Riverview Drive was attempting to register as a sex offender. Subject advised to contact Niagara County Sheriff's department.

Wednesday, May 19

  • Patrol dispatched to assist NCSD for a suspicious vehicle call behind a business on the 3600 block of Ransomville Road. Vehicle gone on arrival.

Friday, May 21

  • Officer requested on the 300 block of Brookshire Road regarding a group of juveniles who went into a complainant's garage. Checks of the area requested.

Saturday, May 22

  • Report of suspicious persons at a drug store on the 200 block of Lockport Street. Gone on arrival.

Sunday, May 23

  • Check situation on the 500 block of Water Street on a third party call of a domestic. Victim not on location and miscommunication reported. Patrol cleared.
