Two win Godshall Scholarship

Elizabeth Jones of Niagara-Wheatfield and Scott Farrell of North Tonawanda recently received the Dr. Clark Godshall Scholarship at closing ceremonies at the BOCES Niagara Career and Technical Education Center. Godshall is the district superintendent of the Orleans/Niagara BOCES and gives out several scholarships yearly to career and technical education students to use towards continuing their studies or buying tools or uniforms to help them with their careers after graduation. Jones, shown at center, has completed the security and law enforcement program, and will be attending Canisius College this fall to major in biology and minor in criminal justice. She plans a career in forensics. Farrell, left, has completed the heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration program and will attend the Rochester Institute of Technology to study mechanical engineering.
