American Lung Association's Fight for Air Climb Buffalo is March 23 at Seneca One Tower

Event will support research, education, advocacy for lung health

Registration is open for the annual Fight For Air Climb Buffalo, taking place at 8:30 a.m. March 23 at Seneca One Tower, 1 Seneca St., Buffalo. This year’s participants will climb 594 steps, up 32 flights, to raise awareness and more than $250,000 to support research, advocacy and education for those with lung diseases and lung cancer.

People of all fitness levels are invited to register with a team or as an individual at FightForAirClimb.org/Buffalo.

The “ultimate climbers” will participate twice, starting at 8:30 a.m. A firefighter challenge follows at 9:30 a.m.

For over 100 years, the American Lung Association has been at the forefront of the “Fight for Air.” All proceeds from the Fight For Air Climb will directly fund lung disease research, advocacy and education, including smoking cessation programs, COPD/asthma management, advocacy for strong clean air standards, as well as support the Lung Association’s COVID-19 action initiative.
