Death investigation in Town of Niagara

On Thursday, March 7, 2024, at approximately 4:22pm, Town of Niagara Police responded to the 3000 block of Rhode Island Avenue, on a report of an unresponsive male subject lying in a field. Responding officers found a male subject believed to be in 50s deceased in the field.

The name of the deceased male is being withheld pending notification of family members.

Town of Niagara Police were assisted by the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office criminal investigation unit and Niagara Active Hose Fire Co. The investigation is ongoing.
