3rd annual Lockport Benefit Ball to support Niagara Hospice

Lockport's third annual Benefit Ball will take place from 7-11 p.m. Saturday, March 2, at the Lockport Town & Country Club.

Organizers said, “Back by popular demand, this year's theme will once again be ‘Let's Disco,’ where attendees are encouraged to dress in their favorite ’70s disco attire.”

"It's a great night of fun," co-organizer Krista Isherwood said. "It's also a wonderful opportunity for our community to spend time with one another and show us their best John Travolta or Donna Summer moves."

The Benefit Ball was founded in 2022 by a group of Lockport women whose goal is to bring neighbors together to build momentum for enhancements in the Lockport community. During this time, they have raised and donated over $15,000 is support of charitable needs.

The press release noted, “This year's event will benefit Niagara Hospice, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and the only hospice provider in Niagara County. Niagara Hospice is dedicated to providing the right care, in the right place, at the right time, and through that mission, has cared for over 30,000 patients and their families since 1988.”

Price of admission is $75 per ticket and includes hors d’oeuvres, desserts, beer, wine and musical entertainment by DJ Miles Patterson. Tickets can be purchased via Venmo @DiscoFever or checks can be mailed to Joanne Bull at 5978 Stone Road, Lockport, NY 14094.
