Mount St. Mary’s Hospital’s (MSMH) Center for Sports Medicine & Physical Rehabilitation and its cardiac rehabilitation unit will host an open house for the general public from 2-4 p.m. Monday, Feb. 12, in the departments’ new location at the north lobby entrance of Mount St. Mary’s Hospital. All are welcome.

The outpatient rehabilitation services relocated to the newly remodeled area on the hospital campus last month. Services provided include physical, occupational and speech therapy, as well as cardiac rehabilitation.

In addition to tours and information about the services being offered, guests will have an opportunity to meet the rehab staff.

“We are excited to have these rehab services on the Mount St. Mary’s campus,” said Carolyn Moore, manager of public relations and community affairs for the hospital. “It’s a very accessible location for our patients, and we hope everyone will take the opportunity to stop in and meet our therapists and learn more about the services we offer.”

In addition to the open house, the hospital will also be celebrating Healthy Heart Month and National Cardiac Rehabilitation Week, which occurs Feb. 11-17 this year. Refreshments will be served during the open house. Reservations are not required.
