Positive local storytelling show gains momentum nationwide

"Good Deeds Buffalo"

We are thrilled to announce that "Good Deeds Buffalo" has officially launched nationwide, under our rebranded name, "Good Deeds America." Our website is fully built, and our social media channels are up and running. We have already booked our first sets of guests for the show, and we couldn't be more excited to bring positivity and inspiration to a broader audience.

However, to continue our mission of celebrating people who embody kindness and inspire others, we need the community's help. We have also recently ended our business relationship with 716Live due to a change in their business dynamics. This change resulted in added costs, which led us to launch a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds and produce impactful and meaningful content locally in Buffalo.

We believe that "Good Deeds America" is not just a show, but a movement – and we want the communities we serve to be a part of it. Your help in spreading our request for assistance is greatly appreciated.

“Good Deeds Buffalo” first gained national attention when I was a guest on the nationally syndicated “Drew Barrymore Show” in connection with “Good Deeds” and my successful “Pride Alliance Blood Drives.” The blood drives have helped save over 1,000 lives and advocate for the removal of federal blood donation regulations that discriminate against LGBTQ+ blood donors.

After reaching a national platform, I decided to take the initiative online, ensuring that “Good Deeds” remains a beacon of positivity that is more accessible than ever.

Community Impact

The Buffalo program was not just a mere TV series, it was a movement that inspired the community toward kindness, compassion and positivity. The show featured 29 episodes that highlighted local acts of kindness, community projects, and positive stories that had a profound impact on the Western New York community.

The show's impact was so great that actress Drew Barrymore called me, the show's host, “her hero,” when I appeared on her show in 2022.

Drew's words of encouragement and appreciation only added to the show's momentum – and helped it to grow into a national movement, now called “Good Deeds America,” inspiring communities across the country to come together and make a difference.

National Syndication Opportunity

In addition to the strategic collaborations with local TV stations, public access channels, and companies, “Good Deeds America” has recently received interest from two national networks that are interested in carrying the show, as long as it comes preproduced. Briens Business Umbrella Accounting has joined me as the presenting sponsor for season 1.

In-House Production

I decided to bring the production in-house after ending a business relationship with 716Live. The production team will now be led by me, with my three years of experience in producing and hosting TV shows, as well as strong computer literacy and marketing skills. I am well-suited for the job.

Derrick Vigrass, an assistant producer with a background in music production and electronics, will assisting me. Additionally, Gary Hodge, an experienced professional in various aspects of media production, both in-studio and in the field, will contribute his extensive expertise.

Watch ‘Good Deeds America’ Online

“Good Deeds America” is now set to debut online, first, in early 2024, accessible from anywhere with an internet connection. The show's website is a hub for positivity, featuring episodes, behind-the-scenes content, and ways for viewers to get involved.
