Lewiston Police Department Press Release
On Dec. 19 at 1:45 p.m., the Lewiston Police Department was dispatched to Niagara University for an unresponsive person. Upon arrival, patrols found a female deceased from apparent weather-related conditions.
Upper Mountain Fire and Town of Niagara Police were on scene to assist.
Preliminary investigation suggests that the female wandered away from home last night and succumbed to the weather conditions.
The female has been identified as Emily J Neal, 68 years old, from the Town of Niagara.
Investigation into the incident is ongoing at this time.
