Shortly after 9 p.m. last night, the Niagara Falls Police Department responded to a home in the 500 block of 20th Street for a report of a man shot. Upon arrival, officers located a 23-year-old from Niagara Falls suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim informed officers that he was shot near the corner of 19th Street and Walnut Avenue, then fled to the house on 20th Street where residents called 911 for assistance.
The victim was transported to ECMC via ambulance and is currently listed in stable condition. NFPD detectives are investigating.
