Kelly's Fall Fest is Sept 23-24

Kelly’s Country Store is holding a Fall Fest from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 23-24.

Kelly’s staff member Amanda Diamond said the event will feature food and beverage vendors, a petting zoo, a bounce house and many other activities for families.

“Niagara Down Under will have the kangaroos, the petting zoo, pony rides. They’re also bringing a budgie trailer which has little parakeets for people to feed,” Diamond said. “We’re going to have the bounce houses for kids go on.”

Among other vendors, she said GI Liquidation will have a booth. She said the business is new to the Island, located at 2491 Grand Island Blvd. “They sell various things … anything from tools, household goods, kids’ toys, and anything.”

“Foodwise, 773 North will be here with their soup – they haven’t told me what flavors yet; Simply Boba – they’re new to the Island , as well – they’re going to have some Vietnamese dishes as well as their boba drinks.” Simply Boba’s tea café is at 2600 Grand Island Blvd.

Diamond said a diner truck will be coming to the festival and another catering company is going to be doing mac and cheese. There also will be tacos, hot cider, and Steaksters and Dirty Bird food trailers. The Village Inn will be selling special alcoholic beverages at its booth.

Strobel Farms of Newfane will be coming, as well.

“They’re going to have their farmers market,” Diamond said. “They’re going to be having all the fall decorating stuff – like hay bales, corn stalks and pumpkins.”

She said they’re going to have chili and Italian sausage.
