Roswell Park Care Network expands in northern Erie, Niagara counties

Williamsville location opens, led by urologist Dr. John DeBerry III; Niagara Falls Blvd. office expands with general urology and thoracic services; southtowns practice welcomes Dr. Schwaab 

The Roswell Park Care Network announced new locations, care providers and services as part of ongoing growth and expansion. A press release stated, “The Care Network was established in 2019 to expand convenient access to cancer treatment and services guided by experts at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.”

“The growth of these services, especially urology, further complements our existing community-based programs across the region,” said Thomas Schwaab, M.D, Ph.D., urologist and Roswell Park chief of strategy, business development and outreach. “We continue to leverage our world-class expertise and resources to ensure that Care Network patients have access to Roswell Park-quality care close to home.”

New Williamsville Office & Staff Urologist

Comprehensive urologic care has arrived at the Care Network’s newest location in Williamsville. Located at 2150 Wehrle Drive, this practice will be led by John L. DeBerry III, M.D., a general urology specialist and Buffalo-native who has been practicing in the region for more than three decades. He earned his medical degree from the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and completed a fellowship in urologic oncology at Roswell Park.

The press release said, “Patients at this location will have access to services ranging from general urology to advanced diagnostics, treatment options and personalized care plans. As a Care Network member, Dr. DeBerry will have seamless collaboration with specialists and experts at the main Roswell Park campus, ensuring an integrated approach so patients achieve best possible outcomes and quality of life.

Niagara Falls Office Moves, Expands to New Location

The Roswell Park Care Network Niagara Falls practice has relocated to a newly renovated space at 10175 Niagara Falls Blvd., bringing together specialized cancer and general urology services under one roof. Faculty physicians Ahmed Aly Hussein Aly, M.D., and Muammer Altok, M.D., provide full-service care, diagnosis and treatment of all urologic cancers (adrenal, bladder, kidney, penal, prostate, testicular and urethral) as well as general urologic disorders.

The press release noted, “Also available onsite is high-quality care for patients with lung cancers and other malignant chest conditions as well as lung cancer screening, under the care of Elisabeth Dexter, M.D., FACS, and Lori Pearce, P.A.”

Schwaab Seeing Patients in Orchard Park

Joining the staff at Roswell Park Hematology Oncology Southtowns is Dr. Schwaab, who also provides care at Roswell Park’s main campus. He will be seeing patients initially one Wednesday per month. Access to general urology services will expand further as the program continues to grow.
