Shortly after 4:30 p.m. Monday, Niagara Falls Police responded to the area of 19th and Falls Streets for a report of shots fired and a motor vehicle accident. Upon arrival on the scene, officers located a two-vehicle motor accident.
The male driver of one of the vehicles sustained minor injuries and was transported to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center for treatment. The female driver of the other vehicle was found to have sustained a gunshot wound to her head. The female was transported to NFMMC and then transferred to ECMC where she is currently in critical condition.
