The Roycrofters-At-Large Association will be back again for the 47th annual Roycroft Artisan Summer Arts & Crafts Festival at the Classic Rink on Saturday, June 24, and Sunday June 25. The festival runs from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. each day at 41 Riley St., in the Village of East Aurora.

Organizers stated, “This is the fifth year the Roycroft Summer Festival returns to the Classic Rink, an outdoor venue with a roof to provide protection from the sun as well as inclement weather. With the festival centrally located in the village, patrons can park once and take advantage of everything East Aurora has to offer, including Main Street shops and restaurants.

“Convenient parking close to the rink and festival has been provided by Fisher-Price Inc. at the Riley Street parking lot.

“Visitors to the festival will experience fine art in wood, metal, fabric, jewelry, clay, glass, book arts, prints, drawing, painting and photography. The work is created by fine artists and craftspeople, many of whom have gone through a rigorous jurying process.”

A press release stated, “Roycrofters at Large Artisans have earned the right to use the ‘double R’ mark of the Roycroft Renaissance and represent the very strongest in quality workmanship and design.

“This year will again feature a section for ‘New Emerging Artists’ allowing them to have the opportunity to experience a fine art show while seeking guidance in their art.”

Raffle tickets for the RALA “Goodie Box” will also be available. The “Goodie Box” contains items created by Roycroft Artisans and Master Artisans and is valued at over $5,000. The drawing will be held in February 2024, at the 37th National Arts and Crafts Conference, at the Grove Park Inn in Ashville, North Carolina. The winner need not be present.

There will be a $5 admission charge for adults, free for children. The event will offer local food by the Blue Eyed Baker offering food and refreshments. Festival posters and memberships will be available at the event. Follow the Roycrofters-At Large Association Facebook page and the Roycroft Artisans Instagram page for updates.
