Thank Kindness Festival at Eastern Hills Mall seeking nonprofits

Save the date! The first Kindness Festival will be held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 10, at the Eastern Hills Mall.

Organizers said, “In the past year, Buffalo has been impacted by multiple tragedies. Our city needs happiness, kindness, and the courage to help each other again.

“This is a huge event to celebrate the amazing nonprofits in Western New York and shine a light on the great work that they are doing!

“There will also be lots of fun for the kids with inflatables, activities, a chicken barbecue, adoptable pets from various animal rescues, and more!  A huge basket raffle will benefit Smile Mail Inc., Sweet Buffalo Rocks and Totally Buffalo Cares.”

Donations are also gratefully accepted for the basket raffle to Smile Mail in the Eastern Hills Mall from 2:30 to 5 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, and Totally Buffalo Store in Amherst and Orchard Park during regular business hours.
