REO Speedwagon Set to Storm Into Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino June 24

Spring may have just sprung, but Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino is preparing for an entertainment heatwave when REO Speedwagon storms into the Seneca Allegany Event Center on Saturday, June 24 (7 p.m.). Tickets go on sale at noon Friday, March 31.

A press release stated, “REO Speedwagon helped define the arena rock age of the 1970s and ’80s. Formed as a college band at the University of Illinois in the late 1960s, REO Speedwagon sped to the heights of stardom in the ’70s and ’80s fueled by a long list of hit songs.”

The band earned steady radio play and a legion of fans with hits “Ridin’ the Storm Out,” “Time for Me To Fly,” “Roll With the Changes,” “Take It on the Run,” “Keep On Loving You,” “Can’t Fight This Feeling” and “In My Dreams,” among others. Through it all, REO Speedwagon has sold more than 40 million records, charting 13 Top 40 hit singles, while continuing to play live shows for audiences across the United States and Canada. 38 Special Will Rock Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino June 17

Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino has a “special” night of entertainment in store for rock music fans when 38 Special performs in The Seneca Niagara Event Center on Saturday, June 17 (8 p.m.). Tickets go on sale at noon Friday, March 31.

A press release stated, “38 Special has been rocking audiences from coast to coast for more than four decades. With the release of its self-titled debut album in 1977, the band brought a hard-hitting blend of southern rock and arena rock that audiences loved and established 38 Special as a popular mainstay on rock radio stations.”

The band’s catalog of hit songs includes “Rockin’ Into the Night,” “Hold On Loosely,” “Caught Up in You,” “Teacher, Teacher” and “Back Where You Belong.” (Tickets start at $35.)

Comedian Jon Lovitz, Country Superstar Lorrie Morgan Added to Bear’s Den Showroom Lineup

Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino is doubling down on entertainment this June with a pair of stars performing in The Bear’s Den Showroom.

Comedian Jon Lovitz will headline two nights (8 p.m. Thursday, June 8, and Friday, June 9) as part of the “Barrel of Laughs” comedy series. Then, country music legend Lorrie Morgan will perform at 8 p.m. Friday, June 30. Tickets go on sale at noon Friday, March 31.

Lovitz rose to fame as a cast member on “Saturday Night Live” from 1985-90.

A press release stated, “His brilliant run on the show included memorable characters like Tommy Flanagan, Master Thespian, the Devil, Annoying Man, and many more.”

In addition to “Saturday Night Live,” Lovitz has appeared in numerous television programs, including “Friends,” “The Simpsons,” “Two and a Half Men,” and the animated series “The Critic,” in which he voiced the lead character. He has also appeared in films “Big,” “A League of Their Own,” “The Wedding Singer” and “Hotel Transylvania.”

This is an 18-years-and-older show. Tickets start at $45.

A press release stated, “Lorrie Morgan is one of the most eloquently emotive vocalists in country music. The first woman in her genre to begin her career with three consecutive Platinum albums, Morgan made her Grand Ole Opry debut at age 13, later launching a career that has included numerous Platinum and Gold albums, and multiple industry awards.”

Her list of hit songs includes “A Picture of Me Without You,” “I Guess You Had to Be There,” “Watch Me,” “Five Minutes,” “I Didn’t Know My Own Strength” and “Something in Red.” (Tickets start at $65.)
