YWCA of the Niagara Frontier hosting annual cash raffle fundraiser

The YWCA of the Niagara Frontier will hold its annual cash raffle on Saturday, April 22. The event will take place from 6-10 p.m. at the Shawnee Volunteer Fire Co., 3747 Lockport Road, Sanborn.

Organizers said, “This year's cash raffle will be a ‘Juke Box Rock’-themed event that is both fun and casual. The event will feature live music from the ’60s and ’70s by The Breakout Band.

“Tickets admit two and are $125 each. The purchase of a ticket enters the buyer in to potentially win one of five cash prizes, which include a top prize of $8,000. You do not have to be present to win the cash prizes.

“The ticket price includes food, wine, beer and soda. A basket auction, silent auction and 50/50 will add to the festivities.”

All proceeds will benefit the YWCA of the Niagara Frontier domestic violence prevention and education programs. To purchase tickets, call 716-433-6714 or stop by the YWCA of the Niagara Frontier at 32 Cottage St., Lockport.
