Career fair at Buffalo VA Medical Center seeks advanced medical support assistants

VA Western New York Healthcare System will host a career fair at the Buffalo VA Medical Center located at 3495 Bailey Ave., Buffalo. The event runs from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Friday, March 3, in Room 301, Freedom Hall.

Organizers said this fair will be an expedited hiring process event that specifically seeks to fill advanced medical support assistant positions. Applicants must have at least one year of clinical scheduling and administrative experience, and knowledge of medical terminology. If qualified, candidates may be hired on the spot (conditionally; pending background checks).

A press release stated, “When hired, VA employees receive paid federal holidays and a great benefits package to include health care, savings and additional educational programs.
