The Gaslight Anthem to begin 2023 Outer Harbor Concert Series

Performing on the Lakeside Event Lawn presented by Upstate Honda Dealers in May 

The Rich Entertainment Group (REG) and Buffalo Waterfront Management Group (BWMG) announce The Gaslight Anthem, with special guests Oso Oso and Emily Wolfe, will kick-off the 2023 Seneca Casinos Outer Harbor Concert Series at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 20, at the Lakeside Event Lawn presented by Upstate Honda Dealers. Gates open at 6:30 p.m.

Future shows as part of the 2023 Seneca Casinos Outer Harbor Concert Series will be announced at a later date.

“We are excited to welcome guests back to the Outer Harbor this summer,” said Kevin Parkinson, vice president operations and finance for Rich Entertainment Group. “After a successful inaugural season at the Outer Harbor, we are looking forward to bringing everyone together for several nights of live music, great food and a memorable experience.”

Band presale starts at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15. An exclusive presale for Seneca Gaming Club members with access code starts 24 hours later. General on-sale begins at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 17. Tickets and information are available at buffalowaterfront.com/events/gaslight-anthem.

The New Jersey based rock band formed in 2006 and is currently working on its sixth studio album. The Gaslight Anthem’s most successful single, “45,” is off the group’s latest album, “Handwritten,” which debuted in 2012. The single peaked at No. 75 on the U.K. singles chart and finished at 15 on the Billboard Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart. Other songs by The Gaslight Anthem include “Handwritten,” “Here’s Looking at You, Kid,” “Great Expectations” and “Old White Lincoln.”

The Lakeside Event Lawn presented by the Upstate Honda Dealers is located at 825 Fuhrmann Blvd., on Buffalo’s Outer Harbor. The parking lots adjacent to the venue are free to event ticketholders and will be managed on a first-come, first-served basis. Additional street parking is available along Fuhrmann. The venue strongly encourages ride-sharing and alternate modes of transportation when possible. The BWMG reminds all ticketbuyers to purchase only from verified sellers.
