Veterans Affairs Western New York Healthcare System will host a career fair at the Batavia VA Medical Center (222 Richmond Ave., Batavia) from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1. The VA career fair will be held on the ground (basement) floor level of Building 3 at the Batavia VA Medical Center campus.
A press release stated, “This career fair will be an expedited hiring process event that seeks food service workers, cooks, a kitchen manager, and housekeeping staff. If qualified, candidates may be hired conditionally on the spot.
“When hired, VA employees will receive several paid federal holidays, a great benefits package, and a retention bonus after 90 days of employment. Please bring resumes, credentials and references.
