Lewiston-Porter High School art students are looking for your photos

New this school year, the “Gallery Project” course allows students to design exhibitions and programming for Lew-Port’s new Level Art Gallery. Students are currently preparing an exhibition about Artpark. Each student is researching a specific aspect of Artpark after learning about the park’s history through reading, viewing an artist-created documentary, and participating in a guided tour of the park led by regional curator Albert Chao.

“Gallery Project” students have created artworks, written exhibition labels, guided fellow art students in creating artworks connected to their research, and now they’re turning to the community. Students are hoping to display community members’ photographs of Artpark as a part of their exhibition.

Please help us by sending in your photos of Artpark! Students will be putting these on display for students and community members to view in our Level Art Gallery on the second floor of the high school. Please only share images that you are comfortable having on public display. Some photos may not be used.
