'Jam Man' teams with Casal's Boxing Club to help children at Christmas

Remzi Yates III, aka “Jam Man,” teamed up with Ray Casal Casal's Boxing Club for a toy drive to donate to John R. Oishei Children's Hospital of Buffalo.

His father, Remzi Yates II, said, “My son has been doing charity work around the holidays since he was 6 years old. He saves up his own money all year to do so. This year, he used the money from his own journalism business (www.rockingwithjamman.com), and this year he spoke with trainer Ray Casal and was able to get his fellow boxers from Casal’s Boxing Club (https://casalsboxingclub.com/) to donate even more toys. Between Jam Man and Casal's, there was well over 100 toys.

“My son wants to be an example to the youth in our community. This year, when choosing where to donate to, he thought about all these kids in the hospital who might be afraid or sad they are not home for Christmas, and wanted to make sure they got presents. He was so glad he was able to get help from his fellow boxers to do even more. I am so proud of him.

“And would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and happy New Year!”
