Beat the heat at City of Buffalo's splash pads & indoor pools

The Office of City of Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown announced the following:

Now that repairs have been completed on the Allison Park Splash Pad, located at 38 Rees St., all 11 city splash pads are available for cooling off and relaxing. The splash pads are open every day, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., through Labor Day, weather permitting. 

Buffalo residents can also take advantage of free, expanded access to the City of Buffalo’s Cazenovia Park and Lovejoy indoor swimming pools.

Here are the schedules for the city’s two indoor pools:

Cazenovia Pool, 626 Abbott Road

  • Monday, Thursday through Saturday – 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. 
  • Tuesday – closed
  • Wednesday, Sunday – 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

Lovejoy Pool, 1171 E. Lovejoy St.

  • Monday – closed 
  • Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday – 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. 
  • Thursday, Saturday – 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
