On Saturday, the Niagara County Department of Health rescinded a beach advisory at Olcott Beach, noting water quality is once again suitable for recreational swimming.

Surveillance sampling conducted on July 15 by the Niagara County Department of Health at Olcott Beach determined the water was suitable for swimming.

The Niagara County Department of Health said it will continue to monitor water quality closely, and will immediately notify the public of any problems associated with water quality.
