Niagara Falls Police Department investigating Pine Avenue homicide

At 5:45 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, the Niagara Falls Police Department responded to the 900 block of Pine Avenue for a report of a person down. Upon arrival, officers located a 22-year-old man from Buffalo on the street and suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers initiated aid until Niagara Falls Fire Department and AMR arrived, at which time the victim was pronounced deceased.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding the incident to contact NFPD criminal investigation division detectives at 716-286-4553, or call the general information number: 716-286-4711.
