Mental Health Association in Niagara County offering support groups in Niagara Falls

The Mental Health Association in Niagara County will be providing support groups in Niagara Falls every Thursday beginning June 2. Groups will be held at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 140 Rainbow Blvd., Niagara Falls.

√ The depression/anxiety support group will meet the first and third Thursdays of the month at 3:30 p.m.

√ The grief support group will meet the first and third Thursdays of the month at 4:30 p.m.

√ The dissociative identity disorder social hour will meet the second and fourth Thursdays of the month at 3:30 p.m.

√ The peer support group will meet the second and fourth Thursdays of the month at 4:30 p.m.

“We wanted to expand our service offerings in Niagara Falls, and St. Peter’s Episcopal Church was gracious enough to let us host the groups in their community room,” MHA Executive Director Daniel Colpoys said.

It is the mission of The Mental Health Association in Niagara County Inc. to promote mental wellness by sponsoring and implementing advocacy, education, and community service programs.
