Catch Little Anthony & The Imperials, The Crystals and The Marcels in concert at The Riviera Theatre, 67 Webster St., North Tonawanda. This afternoon of music is set to begin at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 12. Tickets can be purchased online at https://www.rivieratheatre.org or by calling 716-692-2413.

As described by show presented Latshaw Productions:

Little Anthony and the Imperials is an American rhythm and blues/soul vocal group from New York City, first active in the 1950s. The group was one of the very few doo-wop groups to maintain success on the R&B and pop charts throughout the 1960s.

Little Anthony’s powerful voice and amazing vocal range, coupled with some of the most iconic songs ever written (“Tears on My Pillow,” “Goin’ Out of my Head,” “Hurt So Bad”), will astonish the audience and transport them to a place where timeless music lives on forever.

When Phil Spector discovered The Crystals, not one was yet out of high school. Their first recording, “There’s No Other (Like My Baby),” was also their first hit – and catapulted them straight to the Apollo Theatre. They continued their successful recordings with more hit records: “Uptown,” “He’s A Rebel,” “He’s Sure The Boy I Love,” “Da Doo Ron Ron” and “Then He Kissed Me.”

The Marcels are the guys who put the “Bomp in the “Bomp-A-Bomp” back in 1961 when their first recording, “Blue Moon,” sold more than 2.5 million copies. This signature song has been used in at least four major motion pictures and various TV shows.
