A Lenten bible study and dinner series will be offered at the First Presbyterian Church of Lewiston on Wednesday evenings starting March 9. The program, “The Numbers of Hope” by Max Lucado, will be held in the church’s blue room, with dinner at 6 p.m. and bible study following at 7 p.m. Free-will donations are appreciated.
The five-week series will include video presentations and open discussion. Topics include:
Week 1 – “The Most Famous Conversation in the Bible”
Week 2 – “Hope for the Hard Heart”
Week 3 – “The Heart He Offers”
Week 4 – “Heaven’s ‘Whoever’ Policy”
Week 5 – “The Last Word on Life”
The series is open to the public. For reservations, call the church office at 716-754-4945. The church is located at 505 Cayuga St., and is handicapped accessible. Parking is available on Cayuga Street or in a lot behind the church.
