Grand Island Chamber names Tarshus to board

The Grand Island Chamber of Commerce announced the appointment of Andrea Tarshus, Esq., founder of Tarshus Law Firm, to its board of directors. She was sworn in during a ceremony on Jan. 24.

In 2015, Tarshus established Tarshus Law Firm, headquartered on Grand Island, which offers a full range of business and corporate law services. She has over a decade of legal experience, providing counsel to a diverse clientele of small businesses, corporations and organizations throughout New York state.

“Joining the chamber’s board of directors will give me the opportunity to become more involved in Grand Island’s growing business community in a variety of ways,” Tarshus said. “As an advocate for helping small businesses thrive in the region, I’m excited to play a greater role in advancing local business agendas as a member of the board.”

Tarshus has been a member of the Grand Island Chamber of Commerce since 2020, where she has given presentations on the topics of business startup and legal formation services. She also serves on the board for Kevin Guest House and is a member of the Erie County Bar Association.

“We are thrilled to welcome Andrea to our board of directors and look forward to her contributions in the year ahead,” said Eric Fieblekorn, board president of the Grand Island Chamber of Commerce. “Andrea’s multifaceted legal expertise and commitment to our local community will make her an asset to the chamber.”
