Mayor Byron Brown announced the “Dogs to the Rescue” concert, a benefit for the City of Buffalo Animal Shelter, will take place from 6-7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, at Iron Works, 49 Illinois St.
The benefit, featuring the band Dogs in a Pile, will assist Friends of the Buffalo Animal Shelter in its mission to raise funds for the shelter in its mission to:
√ Care for injured, abused, lost, and abandoned animals such as dogs and cats by giving them food, care, shelter and comfort;
√ Find loving and responsible homes for animals; and
√ Reunite families with lost pets.
The family-friendly event is being produced by Junior Jerry Jam and twenty6 productions.
Tickets will be available at the door, starting at 5:30 p.m. They are priced at $3 for kids, $5 for adults, and $11 for families.
