The National Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima has rescheduled its annual “Festival of Lights” benefit and basket auction from Jan. 16 until Saturday, July 23, with doors opening for the benefit dinner at 5 p.m. This is due to concerns related to the coronavirus outbreak.
A press release noted the annual renovation fundraiser will be rebranded as “Fatima Shrine’s Christmas In July Benefit & Basket Auction.”
Basket preview times and dates are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, July 21; 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, July 22; and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 23.
Tickets purchased for the originally scheduled Jan. 16 event will be honored for the new date. Anyone wishing a refund can call the Fatima Shrine Office at 716-754-7489, ext. 0.
