Grand Island Chamber of Commerce welcomes KinderKiddz

Mon, Dec 6th 2021 01:30 pm

On Tuesday, the Grand Island Chamber of Commerce, as well as town government officials, held a ribbon cutting at KinderKiddz, 2710 Grand Island Blvd.

Chamber of Commerce President Eric Fiebelkorn said, “I feel great. It’s a really beautiful adaptive reuse of a building that sat vacant for a long time. It’s great to see it being used for kids in our community. It’s a world-class facility. It puts the building back on the tax rolls for the town, versus being an eyesore that sits vacant. So, it’s another community asset.”

Holding the ribbon were Supervisor John Whitney and Chamber of Commerce member Vienna Laurendi. The school’s owner, Shellina Patel, cut the ribbon with the large scissors provided by the Chamber of Commerce. (Photo by Alice Gerard)
