Niagara Falls Cascade Plant accident

The following information was submitted by the Office of City of Niagara Falls Mayor Robert Restaino:

On Friday, Nov. 19, at 8:35 p.m., the Niagara Falls Police and fire departments responded to an industrial accident at the Cascades Plant located at 4001 Packard Road. Fire and police department personnel removed a 40-year-old male employee who was trapped in a large roller that is used to feed paper. CPR was performed by fire department personnel on the scene and the employee was transported by ambulance to the Erie County Medical Center where he is in critical but stable condition.

The incident is currently under investigation by NFPD.
