The Lewiston Museum would like to share some of our upcoming activities with you.

First, the museum will be open for Small Business Saturday on Nov. 27 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and again on Dec. 4-5 for Christmas Walk. We have all 10 of our ornaments and many new books for your Lewiston History friends and family. And the museum will be in Christmas attire.

Next, on Dec. 11, the Historical Association of Lewiston and the First Presbyterian Church of Lewiston will be hosting a one-man play by Mike Randall – “A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens” – at the First Presbyterian Church at 505 Cayuga St. The evening starts with an old-Victorian dinner of roast pork with cranberry apple chutney, mashed potatoes, carrots, salad and desert, coffee and tea, then the play will start at 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with dinner at 6 p.m.

Tickets are $50 for both the dinner and play and can be purchased at either the First Presbyterian Church or the Lewiston Museum. Only 150 tickets are being sold, so please call and get your tickets early. You won’t want to miss this great show by Mike Randall of Channel 7, or this delicious meal – and a great event to help both The First Presbyterian Church of Lewiston and the Lewiston Museum with some much-needed upgrades to these two historic buildings.

So, as you can see, we are here to keep you up-to-date with all of the history of Lewiston and plenty of ways to spend time this winter enjoying Lewiston! Feel free to call the museum at 716-754-4214.

The Lewiston Museum is located at 469 Plain St.
