Aero Transportation: Walk-thru Thanksgiving dinner giveaway to first 400 families

For the fifth year, Aero Transportation of Niagara Falls will host a Thanksgiving food/turkey giveaway. Organizers said they are aiming to give away over 400 bags of dinner items to residents, in collaboration with the Niagara Falls Housing Authority. Food will be given on first-come, first-served basis.

A walk-thru campaign will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, at the Doris Jones Center, 3001 10th St., Niagara Falls.

Sponsors include Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield of Western New York, Niagara Falls Peacemakers, Naz716 Business & Cultural Center, Labor Workz, 716 United Basketball, Niagara Wheatfield Teachers Association and St. Peter's Episcopal Church.

Aero Transportation is a locally owned business that was established in 2009 by a woman and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. The company provides non-emergency medical transportation and airport shuttle in the region.
