Rotary Club active in challenging year

Fri, Jul 9th 2021 09:35 am

On June 30, Tom Gerbasi’s first act as Rotary Club assistant district governor was to install Leslie Scibilia as club president of the Bi-National Rotary Club of Lewiston & Niagara-on-the-Lake. Scibilia said she hopes to continue Rotary's humanitarian projects in the communities it serves on both sides of the Niagara River, as well as in the wider world.

This past year, despite the pandemic, the Rotary Club was able to participate in a multistate Great Lakes Watershed cleanup, save the lives of children in poverty-stricken nations afflicted with congenital heart disease, and help to alleviate hunger locally.

Scibilia and Gerbasi are pictured.
