Niagara Falls: Hit and run motorcycle accident on Buffalo Avenue

At approximately 11:17 p.m. Tuesday, Niagara Falls Police Department responded to a motorcycle crash at Buffalo Avenue and Hyde Park Boulevard. The accident involved a motorcycle operated by a 60-year-old Niagara Falls man.

A riding companion reported they were heading west on Buffalo Avenue, when an unknown color Chevy Blazer made a left-hand turn off Hyde Park Boulevard into the path of the motorcycle. The Chevy reportedly left the scene of the accident heading eastbound on Buffalo Avenue.

The uninvolved motorcyclist claimed the Chevy should have driver's side damage.

The driver of the motorcycle was transported to ECMC and is currently listed in critical condition.
