Continuing its commitment to make a significant investment to Niagara County nonprofits, Cornerstone Community Federal Credit Union distributed its third gift to the Kenan Center, whose mission is to provide the community with cultural, educational and recreational opportunities. On Tuesday, May 25, a check in the amount of $3,500 was presented to two representatives from the Kenan Center: Executive Director Susan Przybyl and Development and Public Relations Manager Parrish Herzog.

Upon receiving the check, Przybyl said, “In partnership with Cornerstone Community Federal Credit Union, the Kenan Center is thrilled to continue to expand our ability to offer accessible arts, education and recreation programming to our region.”

The Kenan Center is a 25-acre campus developed on an 1800s Victorian mansion with beautifully landscaped grounds originally owned by Mr. and Mrs. William Rand Kenan Jr. The venue has grown from a community center – which has served the residents of Lockport since its official dedication in 1969 – to become one of the premier facilities in the Buffalo Niagara region for arts, education and recreation programming. Cornerstone Community FCU extends its outreach to Niagara County nonprofits that “work tirelessly each and every day to benefit fellow members of the community.” Board Chairman David Nemi said, "We are pleased to acknowledge the impact that the Kenan Center has on our community. With this third community donation, we are confident that this wonderful institution will continue to bring great benefit to our friends and neighbors."
