Kiwanis Club of Niagara-Wheatfield to host basket raffle, announces scholarships awards

The Niagara-Wheatfield Kiwanis Club will host its May Day basket raffle from 1-3 p.m. May 1. The event will be outside at the Lions 5 Senses Park located at 6535 Ward Road, in the Town of Wheatfield. Attendees can purchase a sheet of 25 tickets for $5. The winning names will begin to be drawn at 3 p.m. Winners need not be in attendance.

All proceeds will benefit Niagara-Wheatfield Kiwanis’ children’s programs.

Guests are asked to wear a mask and social distance.

•The Kiwanis Club of Niagara-Wheatfield announced its 12th annual scholarship award will be given to two graduating seniors who are students at Niagara Wheatfield High School or who attend another school, but reside either in the Town of Wheatfield or the Town of Niagara. Each senior will be awarded $500.
