St. Paul's Episcopal Cathedral clergy will be in Cathedral Park to offer “ashes-to-go,” Communion and blessings to all who walk b on Ash Wednesday, Feb. 17. “Ashes-to-go” times are 7:30-9 a.m., noon to 1 p.m. and 5-6 p.m. To honor COVID-19 precautionary measures, all ashes will be distributed in small containers for individuals to self-impose.
An evening service at 7 p.m. will be live streamed at www.SPCBuffalo.org. All are welcome to attend.
Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent, which is a time of fasting, reflection and penitence.
St. Paul’s Episcopal Cathedral is located at 139 Pearl St., Buffalo.
