Assemblyman Mike Norris’ annual winter clothing drive began this week. The public being can drop donated items at the assemblyman’s office or the Lockport Town Hall until Dec. 14.

“Because of the pandemic, we limited the locations this year, but the need for warm winter clothing items will be greater than ever before; so I hope our community will still continue to show its generosity to our neighbors in need this season,” Norris said. “Children’s boots are always in high demand and, as always, all items donated will stay within our community. Thank you so much to everyone who helps make this drive possible and for those who are donating.”

Gently used warm winter clothing items such as coats, gloves, mittens, hats, scarves, boots and other items can be dropped off at the assemblyman’s office in Clarence (8180 Main St.) or the Lockport Town Hall (6560 Dysinger Road) during regular business hours. To make other arrangements outside of those hours, call the assemblyman’s office at 716-839-4691 to coordinate.
