Grand Island will be without Light Up the Boulevard Electric Parade & Festival in 2020

The holiday season is quickly approaching and planning for the ninth annual Grand Island Light Up the Boulevard Electric Parade and Festival has been put on hold. The Grand Island Chamber is sad to announce the cancellation of the ninth annual Grand Island Light Up the Boulevard Electric Parade and Festival.

2020 has been a trying year for all organizations because of the coronavirus; due to the restrictions and guidelines in place throughout the state we are unable to hold this year’s event. The safety and health of our community is our first and foremost top priority.

Thank you to years’ past supporters, sponsors and participants of this event. We look forward to working with you all in 2021.

Please do not forget to support our local small business on Small Business Saturday (Nov. 28) and throughout the holiday season. They need our support more than ever.

As a community we may not be able to celebrate the holidays this year in a group setting, but we wish each and every one of you a wonderful holiday season with friends and family.
