The Lewiston Public Library, 305 S. Eighth St., in the Village of Lewiston, announces the following programs, events and activities for the month of November.

•Curbside pickup is still available. Simply call the library at 716-754-4720 or email [email protected] to place a request.

•Face masks for sale – The Friends of the Lewiston Public Library is selling face masks with the library’s logo. Child and adult sizes are available, and all masks are $5.

•Genealogy Club news – Are there veterans in your family tree? Share stories and photos of your family’s military members from the past or present. Email stories to [email protected] by Monday, Nov. 30. All stories will be shared via email, through the club’s Library Facebook page and on its genealogy blog, The Journal of the Dead Beats Society, at https://thedeadbeatssociety.wordpress.com/.

•Recipe Club – Until members can meet again in person, the library will be conducting its Recipe Club virtually. Each month, the club will have a recipe theme. November’s theme is: Share a hearty, healthy soup recipe.

Each month, participants will choose and prepare a recipe of their choice that fits the theme. Participants will send a photo of the finished dish and a recipe to [email protected]. Please include comments and personal tips. You may also hashtag #lewistoncooks on Instagram. All members will receive the photos and recipes.

Sign up if you are interested to be on the club’s email list. Check often for cooking videos, tips and more! All photos and recipes will be collected for inclusion in a calendar that will be completed before January 2022.

•Italian Book & Movie Club – Do you enjoy Italian books, movies and culture? Would you like to experience more of this? Join our new book and movie club. Each month, members of the Italian Book & Movie Club will either read a selected book or watch a movie.

At this time, the club will “meet” virtually through its blog site. Toward the middle of the month, questions and comments will be posted. Members may comment, add thoughts, and interact with other members.

The club’s November book is, “The Seven or Eight Deaths of Stella Fortuna,” by Juliet Grames. Access the Italian Book & Movie Club at www.italianbookandmovieclub.wordpress.com. Email [email protected] for details.

•Moms Book Club is going virtual. Our November book, “The Little Book of Hygge; Danish Secrets to Happy Living,” will reveal how the Danes find a sense of happiness, comfort, togetherness and well-being – even during the cold, dark winter. The club will “meet” at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 18, to discuss the November selection at its special Lewiston Public Library Facebook page, @lewistonbookclub. Contact [email protected] for more information or to be placed on the club’s email list.
