Niagara County Legislator Mike Hill announced two bridge projects on roads over Eighteen Mile Creek in the Town of Hartland are completed and the road lane restrictions that had been in place since mid-September will be lifted this Friday, Oct. 30.

“Thank you to Public Works Commissioner Garret Meal, his team and our contractors for getting this project done on time,” Hill said. “I thank the public for their patience with the lane restrictions while the work was underway.”

Orangeport Road between Ridge and Wheeler roads had been closed to all except local traffic for a bridge deck repair. The Quaker Road bridge located north of Slayton Settlement Road had been reduced to one lane of traffic for bridge deck repair, as well.
