The Niagara Count Department of Public Works on Monday announced it will soon begin survey work on Sunset Drive from Upper Mountain Road to Stone Road as the first step in the design process to rehabilitate the driving surface. The actual project would be a few years away.
“We do not want residents in this area to be caught off guard if they see a survey crew in their neighborhood or on their lawn,” Public Works Commissioner Garret Meal said.
Meal said a flyer will be mailed to each homeowner within the next few days advising them of the upcoming work. It is expected survey crews will be in the neighborhood next week.
