Grand Island Chamber of Commerce: Citizen of the Year award recipients announced

The Grand Island Chamber of Commerce announced this week the 2020 Citizen of the Year award recipients are as follows:

•Athletic Achievement: the Grand Island boys varsity volleyball team

•Business: Pinto Sanitation

•Business Person: ToniMarie Amantia

•Community Service: Scott Swagler, Scoutmaster, Boy Scout Troop No. 630

•Environmental Steward: Dianne Tiede

•Organization: Grand Island Historical Society

•Lifetime Service: Judy Schmidt

They will be recognized at a dinner to take place on Thursday, April 30, at the DoubleTree Niagara Falls. To purchase a ticket, call the Grand Island Chamber office at 773-3651.
