Memorial Medical Center awarded accreditation

Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center has been awarded a Comprehensive Center accreditation by Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program, in partnership with the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. A MBSAQIP accreditation formally acknowledges NFMMC’s commitment to providing and supporting quality improvement and patient safety efforts for metabolic and bariatric surgery patients.

Accreditation confirms the Bariatrics Center at NFMMC meets the needs of its patients by providing multidisciplinary, high-quality, patient-centered care.

“Working with outstanding health care professionals every day is what makes the Bariatric Center at NFMMC special. The commitment of the entire team allows continued excellence in all we do,” said bariatrics coordinator Diane Dychtiar, RN.

“We are proud to achieve this prestigious accreditation,” said Memorial Medical Center President and CEO Joseph A. Ruffolo. “Earning MBSAQIP accreditation is a significant achievement that recognizes our continued commitment to providing outstanding care to our patients, and our community.”
