Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center headline sponsors for 'RockOut Cancer'

The Lower Niagara Community Survivors group will hold its second annual “RockOut Cancer” fundraising event from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15, at the Lewiston Stone House, 755 Center St. Admission to the all-day event includes food donated from the Stone House, Gallo Coal Fire Kitchen, Casa Antica and the Brickyard Brewing Co. Live entertainment for the day is also donated by Vinyl Addiction, The Tower, Mr. Thank You and Different Districts.

The headline sponsors for this year’s event are Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center and Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, two leading medical facilities that came together last winter to offer state-of-the-art cancer screening and survivorship programs to the residents of the Niagara Region.

And we have more collaboration planned for early 2020.”

“RockOut Cancer” is hosted by the Lower Niagara Community Survivors, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization run entirely by volunteers. One hundred percent of the event’s proceeds benefit those who have or have had cancer. Services offered range from lawn care to grocery shopping, gift cards to groceries.
