Holy Ghost hosts Mess Fest

Thu, Dec 13th 2018 12:45 pm

More than 60 students from Holy Ghost Lutheran School's pre-K and kindergarten classes recently attended the school's first ever Mess Fest. Kids and their families were invited to an evening of making the kinds of messes that mom won't let them make at home. Some of the favorite stations included: slime making, gummy bear pies, splatter painting, pudding painting, shaving cream free for all and searching for meatballs in a giant bowl of spaghetti.

The teachers planned 14 stations to engage the children in an evening of fun and exploration. They were assisted by additional teachers and aides as well as young adult volunteers. Members of the church's youth group sold pizza and snacks to raise money for their upcoming trip to this summer's LCMS Youth Gathering in Minneapolis.

The messes were huge but the smiles were enormous. To learn more about the fun and learning opportunities at Holy Ghost, contact the office at 731-3030.
