Students in the classes of Bob Ihle and Caitlin Kucharski are continuing a great Thanksgiving tradition at the Niagara Career and Technical Education Center.
For the past several years, they have been helping out the Lockport Salvation Army by roasting and carving their Thanksgiving turkeys for their dinner. "We really enjoy doing this for a number of reasons," said Ihle. "Not only do the students get valuable skills on how to prepare the bird, they are giving back to the community and ensuring that those less fortunate are able to enjoy a traditional holiday meal. We are always glad to help out."
