This holiday season, a former Buffalo Bill is continuing his work to make a difference for children and families in the community.
The Eric Wood Fund, a not-for-profit organization founded by former Buffalo Bills center Eric Wood, will host its fourth annual "Flights and Bites" fundraiser on Monday, Nov. 26. Proceeds will support programming of The Children's Hospital of Buffalo Foundation and Stone's Buddies. The fund provides chronically ill, special needs and physically challenged children throughout Greater Buffalo with daily encouragement and life-changing experiences.
The event will take place from 6-9 p.m. at Big Ditch Brewing Co., 55 E. Huron St., Buffalo. Bills players are expected to attend. Tickets can be purchased online for $100. More information is available at wchob.ejoinme.org/flights-bites.
